严开祺,男,博导,研究员,极域材料科学与工程研究中心主任,中国青年科技工作者协会会员,中国科学院青年创新促进会优秀会员,北京市科技新星,曾获2023年强国青年科学家,第25届中国青年五四奖章。

主要研究方向为特种功能粉体材料软化学制备及其应用、生物质气凝胶制备及其应用等,作为负责人承担了国家重点研发计划、中国科学院先导科技专项等多项国家科研任务和产业化转化项目,突破了空心玻璃微球软化学制备的关键配方和技术,并应用到深海探测、航空航天、电子通讯、氢能贮存、低温绝热等领域。发表论文40余篇,授权专利20余项,参与制定国家标准1项,行业标准1项。
